Prince and Promise (Pro) Sibanda better known as The PS DJz, were born in the late 1980’s where they were raised by Sibongile and Kenneth Sibanda in Lethabile Brits.

The Sibanda brothers shared the same class throughout their high school careers and have been inseparable ever since. The brothers fell in love with DJing in 2004 but in 2005, they decided to move to Johannesburg where Prince studied Graphic Design and Promise studied Fashion Design. It was only in 2008 when they decided to fully pursue music as a career and they haven’t lookedback ever since.

The PS DJz have had the privilege of playing their music in the biggest clubs in the country. They have been the resident DJ’s at the famous night club, Kong. The PS DJz have worked with some of the biggest Kwaito stars in the country such as Red Button and the legendary Tokollo “Magash” Shabalala from TKZEE, one of the best Kwatio groups to come out of South Africa. The DJ’s have been celebrated on various media platforms in the country which include Drum Magazine, Hype Magazine, Daily Sun and have appeared on TV shows such as Real Goboza, Sisterhood, Shiz Niz and the popular music and entertainment show, Club 808. Most recently, the duo had the privilege of appearing on the number one music show in South Africa, Live AMP as guest DJ’s for the Live AMP Megamix slot.

The Duo recently shot a music video for their latest single titled “Uhamba Nobani” with Metro FM award winner and Hip Hop superstar, Emtee. The PS DJz count DJ Cleo, DJ Kent, Oskido and DJ Black Coffee as their inspiration and have followed in their footsteps by not only producing great music but by also starting their own label “Too Dope Music”. The DJ’s are currently working on their first studio album which will take the South African music scene by storm judging by their single with Emtee which has done exceptionally well having received airplay on the biggest radio stations in the country such as Ukhozi FM, 5FM, Capricorn FM, and Gagasi FM. The Sibanda Brothers are excited about taking over – the music scene with their album and by taking over the South African runways with a clothing line that they are currently working on. The PS DJz are well on their way to becoming a household name as they continue captivating the country and the continent at large, with their unique talents.
